XRAY 368201 Big Bore Rear Shocks for Tighter Rear End Control

Racers wanting sharper rear traction for their XB2 series car can fit the XRAY 368201 big bore rear shocks to address mid-corner slip and roll. These shocks are focused on giving predictable damping and easier setup changes between surfaces.

Big Bore Design Enhances Damping Consistency

The 13.2mm big bore increases oil capacity for steadier damping under load, helping tyres maintain contact over rough track areas. Two piston thicknesses, 2.0mm and 2.5mm, provide setup flexibility. Pre-oiled X-rings reduce friction and help keep dirt out of the internals.

Fine Tuning with Mount Options and Shims

Eccentric lower pivot balls let you tweak shock angle and therefore chassis response. Composite shim stacks under pistons and collars limit travel to prevent bottoming and to refine suspension progression for race conditions.

Specifications

  • Shock Diameter: 13.2mm
  • Piston Thickness Options: 2.0mm, 2.5mm
  • Compatibility: Universal for Dirt and Carpet Edition
  • Included Components: Composite bushings for aluminum shock caps

Well suited to weekend club racers and tuners who want consistent rear damping and straightforward adjustment options.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Begin with the 2.0mm piston for a livelier feel on smoother carpet, then move to 2.5mm if you need more damping on rougher dirt sections. Make one change at a time to judge effect.
Inspect X-rings periodically for cuts or hardening. Replace them if they show wear to prevent leaks and to retain smooth shock action.
Yes, they work with standard spring rates; adjust oil and piston thickness first before changing springs. That helps isolate damping from spring behaviour.
Replacement composite bushings can usually be sourced through parts suppliers. Keep the aluminum cap compatibility in mind when ordering replacements.
Travel depends on your arm mounting and shim setup; use the composite shims to limit extension and compression to match your desired suspension behaviour for the XB2 series chassis.
