X1'17 Flex Chassis from XRAY 371011

The XRAY 371011 X1'17 Aluminum Flex Chassis is machined from 7075 T6 Swiss aluminium and incorporates precision cutouts to tune the plate flex. It targets medium to high traction conditions where improved steering and traction are beneficial. For very high traction surfaces, the stiffer #371010 Aluminum Chassis may be preferable.

Adjustable Pod and Shock Positions

Tested in competition by Team XRAY, the chassis introduces a two-position pod link option. The outer position preserves the stock geometry while the inner position lets the pod link mount at an angle to increase in-corner steering. There is also a forward central mount plate position to suit the short shock configuration, helping fine tune handling balance.

Fitment Info and Manufacturing Notes

Compatible with aluminium pod plate #371148, this chassis is made to integrate into existing X1'17 setups. Note that slight longitudinal bending may occur due to the CNC process and the properties of 7075 T6 aluminium; this is expected and usually does not impact track performance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes, it suits club and regional events on medium to high grip surfaces where added flex helps steering. For ultra-high grip club tracks, consider the #371010 option instead.
The forward central mount position is designed to work with the short shock setup. Check your shock mounting heights and clearances during assembly to ensure proper travel.
Keep the chassis clean of grit and inspect fastener torque regularly. Minor longitudinal bend from machining is normal and does not usually require correction.
