Durable CNC rear bulkhead for XRAY X12 chassis

The XRAY 373011 Aluminum Rear Bulkhead is built to reinforce the XRAY X12 while making motor access more convenient. Machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, the component combines high strength with low weight. The black coating improves longevity and gives a professional finish.

Compact pod design for improved handling

The bulkhead features a pod style that permits top access to motors, suitable for both brushed and brushless units. By lowering the motor mount by 1mm, it supports the use of smaller tyres and assists in lowering the centre of gravity for crisper handling on fast tracks.

Does this improve chassis stiffness?

The 7075 T6 aluminum construction increases local stiffness at the rear pod area, which can translate to a more predictable rear end under load.

Will the lowered motor mount affect gearing?

Dropping the motor mount by 1mm is mainly for tyre clearance and centre of gravity. Gearing should remain unchanged, but confirm mesh and pinion fit after installation.

Is the part lightweight compared to stock?

CNC machining removes material where possible to save weight, so you can expect a lighter feel compared to some heavier cast or thicker alternatives.
