Install this aluminium front stand to join the graphite arm mount plate with the lower suspension arms and refine steering characteristics. Crafted from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium with CNC precision, it adds repeatable stiffness for focused setup work across different surfaces.

Selectable Steering Feel for Different Conditions

  • Soft Setting: Remove the graphite brace to soften initial steering, helpful on very grippy carpet where predictability is preferred.
  • Medium Setting: Fit the graphite brace to the suspension arms to give a livelier mid-corner response while keeping the car stable on medium to high grip tracks.
  • Stiff Setting: Use both the graphite brace and the aluminium stand to maximise steering response, effective on lower grip carpet and mixed asphalt conditions.

Will this change lap time by itself?

On its own it refines steering feel rather than generating big lap time gains. Combined with tyre, shock and toe adjustments it can help extract better performance.

Is the part weight significant?

The aluminium stand adds a small amount of weight up front but its main benefit is stiffness and consistency rather than a major mass change.

Can I use this with aftermarket graphite arms?

It is intended for the XRAY X1'20 geometry. Many aftermarket graphite parts will be compatible but double check mounting points to ensure a proper fit.
