The XRAY 381131 NT18MT CNC Aluminum Chassis is manufactured from high-strength 7075 T6 aluminum to deliver a stiffer, more robust base for NT18MT and NT18T cars. Precision CNC work provides consistent geometry and a more predictable handling platform for lap-focused setups. Note that small longitudinal bending can appear as part of the machining and material properties.

The increased stiffness tends to make the car more responsive; on low-grip surfaces you may need softer springs or more differential to regain traction.

Standard hardware for NT18 series is generally suitable. Check included fasteners and use thread lock where applicable for racing use.

Can I paint or anodise this chassis after purchase?

The raw 7075 T6 surface can be anodised or painted, but follow proper preparation steps and be aware that coatings may slightly affect clearances and weight.
