The XRAY 389135 connection cable is built to provide a clean, reliable link between your receiver and battery pack. Will this cable work in electric buggies?

It will work where the receiver uses a Futaba J plug and the battery uses a matching micro connector. For main power leads to motors or ESCs use heavier gauge wiring.

Can I shorten the cable if needed?

Shortening requires cutting and reterminating the connectors; this should be done by someone experienced with small plugs to avoid damage or poor contact.

Is this a sealed or water resistant connector?

The connectors are standard hobby types and are not rated waterproof. Protect them from moisture and clean contacts if exposed to dirt or water.
