Made to suit the XRAY M18MT, these rear foam tyres deliver a dependable balance of grip and wear. The 37-degree magenta compound helps the car stick through bends while the 34mm Starburst wheel keeps the tyre seated securely under load.

Design Notes on the Foam

The foam profile is denser overall but softer where it contacts the surface, increasing mechanical grip. Tyres come pre-trued to a recommended diameter to simplify setup. If you prefer a specific rolling diameter, a HUDY Tire Truer plus the special wheel adapter lets you fine tune the tyre quickly.

Do these tyres require glue to hold on the rim?

These tyres are already mounted on Starburst wheels, so no additional tyre gluing is necessary for standard use. If you re-mount them on different rims, follow the rim manufacturer recommendations.

How should I adjust for different track surfaces?

Start with the factory pre-trued diameter and test on the surface. Reduce diameter incrementally with a HUDY Tire Truer to increase bite on low-traction tracks, testing between changes.

Can I use a different truer tool?

A HUDY Tire Truer with the special adapter is recommended for best accuracy, but other high-quality truers can work as long as they support the 34mm Starburst wheel and allow fine adjustments.
