The XN1-49/RE is an aluminium replacement spring bottom made to fit XRAY NT1 damper units, finished in red for quick visual sorting. It replaces the original seat and provides a robust contact surface for the shock spring during rebuilds and setup changes.

To fit this part, disassemble the shock, remove the existing spring bottom and install the aluminium unit. It secures the spring and allows for fine preload adjustment; modest changes at the bottom change initial compression and can influence chassis balance under cornering load.
