Fitting these pistons changes bleed area and oil throughput, affecting both low-speed and mid-speed damping characteristics. The composite material resists deformation under normal use, and the three-port layout delivers a compromise between quick rebound and controlled compression for T4 valving schemes.

For installation, remove the damper shaft and piston assembly from the damper body, swap in the selected piston, confirm sealing with your preferred shock oil, then reassemble. Test for smooth shaft action and no binding before circuit runs.
