4-Hole 1.2mm Composite Shock Pistons

Arrowmax AM-T4-308037A2 pistons are intended as serviceable tuning parts for XRAY T4 and comparable 1/10 touring car dampers. The package includes four composite pistons, each drilled with four 1.2mm holes to influence oil movement and damping inside standard touring shocks.

Sold as an aftermarket tuning option where XRAY T4 compatibility is noted, these pistons use composite material to keep weight and cost down while offering reasonable wear characteristics. Hole count and diameter control how much oil passes the piston, and the 1.2mm four-hole pattern provides a mid-to-higher restriction compared with fewer or smaller holes.

Fitting requires basic shock servicing: remove the damper cap, take out the old piston, fit the Arrowmax piston onto the shaft, and rebuild with the same seals and spacers. Confirm orientation and smooth travel, and clean parts to avoid seal damage from debris.

Setup and tuning pointers

• These pistons are useful to tweak mid-speed damping; they increase resistance versus larger-hole pistons.
