What the T4 MID 7075 plate delivers

The Arrowmax AM-910016 Medius chassis is a 7075 aluminium replacement chassis plate made for XRAY T4 MID touring cars. It is a direct-fit component designed to increase chassis stiffness and influence handling balance without changing OEM parts.

Swapping to a 2.0mm 7075 plate is primarily a setup move: the increased rigidity alters responses under acceleration, cornering and braking. You will usually address those changes by tuning ride height, spring and damper rates rather than altering mechanical geometry.

Fitting follows the standard T4 MID chassis removal and refit procedure. Use the correct torque values for mounting hardware, check clearances around the servo, ESC and battery, and confirm there is no contact with drivetrain or body mounts before you run the car.

Fit this plate when you want a firmer baseline for setup work; validate fit and repeatability, and make measured suspension adjustments to tune handling predictably.

The AM-910016 plate adds negligible mass compared with softer plates, but the change in stiffness can alter dynamic weight transfer, so check balance and spring rates after fitting.
You may need firmer springs or different damping to match the stiffer chassis. Make small incremental changes and test to find the right compromise.
Confirm the plate matches Xray T4 MID mounting points and that servo, ESC and battery clearances are acceptable for your specific build.
After fitting, rotate the drivetrain by hand to check for rubbing, then adjust battery position or mounting screws as needed to maintain clearances.
No special fasteners are normally needed; reuse the OEM mounting hardware unless the kit instructions specify otherwise, and follow the recommended torque values.
