Engineered as a direct replacement for the XB8 2026 platform, this chassis plate is CNC-machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium at 3mm thickness. The plate layout accommodates a split radio box and includes fixed mounts for the steering servo box and electronics box to keep component placement consistent.
Milling features a pocket under the clutch bell to avoid contact during maximum flex and to protect the pinion teeth. Carefully milled flex zones and weight reduction pockets allow tuning of chassis behaviour while preserving strength. A revised rear C-holder mounting changes local stiffness to influence rear traction.
The component is produced with low-stress machining areas and a hard-anodized finish to withstand ordinary RC use. Its role is to alter handling balance, traction and steering feedback so the machined geometry supports setup and track tuning rather than adding assemblies.
Fit this chassis when its specific mounting layout and flex tuning match your setup goals, and inspect clutch bell and pinion clearance after installation to ensure trouble-free operation under full flex.
