YD-2R single-plate matte graphite deck

This RC-scale, single-plate graphite upper deck is intended for YD-2R rear-motor cars and features a matte graphite finish that unites the front and rear bulkheads to increase pitching stiffness. The construction aims to deliver a firmer longitudinal response for drivers adjusting chassis flex to shape drift lines and weight transfer characteristics.

Fitment is specific to the YD-2R rear-motor arrangement and the DP-YD2RPLS-supported chassis. The unit replaces the factory upper deck and mounts to existing bulkhead points without altering the main chassis; always verify screw lengths and clearances during assembly.

When tuning, you will likely see reduced pitch during acceleration and braking which affects front and rear grip balance; use this deck in concert with suspension and roll tuning to reach desired handling results.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Install the deck onto the stock bulkhead mounting points; ensure the fasteners are correct length and that nothing rubs against the body or electronics when secured.
By reducing fore-aft flex, transitions tend to become more immediate and predictable; you may need to soften other flex points or tweak shock settings to retain the handling character you prefer.
After sessions, clear debris with a brush or compressed air and avoid harsh chemicals; check attachment areas for wear or loosening from impacts.
The specification lists the DP-YD2RPLS chassis and the YD-2R rear-motor configuration as compatible.
