Made as an RC-scale hop-up for YIKONG YK7081 TB8 vehicles, this steering knuckle is CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium for improved strength at steering load points while keeping added mass minimal. The item replaces factory part number 80004 and targets users seeking firmer steering feedback and longer bearing life.

The upgrade uses larger bearings: inner 20x30x7mm (stock 20x27x4mm) and outer 15x24x5mm (stock 15x21x4mm). These larger bore and outer dimensions spread load and reduce pressure on bearing contact surfaces, helping the steering assembly remain consistent under repeated impacts without changing core geometry.

All required mounting screws and hardware are included and parts arrive pre-assembled where practical. During installation, apply medium-strength threadlocker to mating screws and observe proper torque values for M3 fasteners to protect aluminium threads from stripping.
