Wall-Plug Charger Built for Hobby Use

The Yokomo AC-12DA offers a straightforward charging method for RC hobbyists needing to refill Ni-MH and Ni-Cd packs. It plugs straight into a wall socket so there is no external power brick to carry around.

Compact Charger with Safety Timer

Although compact, the Yokomo AC-12DA can charge NiCd 7.2V batteries in the 1200mAh to 2400mAh bracket. It includes a 2-hour timer to limit charge time and supports charging of mini packs faster when paired with the YZ-M2 conversion connector.

Designed for SUB-C Packs and Wide Voltage

The charger is compatible with SUB-C type 7.2V NiCd/NiMH batteries commonly used in RC cars, with supported capacities of 1400mAh to 2500mAh. Its AC100 to 240V input makes it usable across different mains supplies without extra transformers.

Specifications

  • Input Voltage: AC100 to 240V
  • Output Current: DC1.2A
  • Compatible Battery: SUB-C type 7.2V NiCd/NiMH, 1400-2500mAh

For backyard bashing or club meetups where simple and reliable charging is required, the Yokomo AC-12DA is a practical mains charger that keeps things simple.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The unit provides a DC1.2A output. It is designed for the compatible SUB-C pack sizes listed and is not a high-current fast charger for very large packs.
No adapter for voltage conversion is required thanks to the AC100 to 240V input, but you may need a local plug adapter for outlet fit.
Using the YZ-M2 conversion connector allows the charger to accept mini battery form factors for quicker top-up sessions, while keeping the same timer-based charging approach.
