The Yokomo B12-001BS graphite bumper support is a 2.4mm plate designed to reinforce the front bumper area on BD12/11 chassis. It reduces the risk of front chassis damage from contact and helps keep the car track-ready after impacts.

Graphite offers good rigidity without heavy weight penalties, keeping sprint and race performance consistent. This support absorbs and distributes impact energy across the bumper area rather than passing it straight into the main chassis.

Which models fit and how to fit

This part works with MSR-BD11, MSR-BD12, MSR-BD12A, MSR-010, and MSR-010A chassis. Fitting is normally plug-and-play using the original screw points so most racers can fit it trackside.

Will it help with bump collisions at jumps?

It provides extra structure to the front end which can reduce damage from minor jump landings, but very heavy impacts could still transfer force to the chassis.

You can use appropriate paints designed for composites, but painting is mainly cosmetic. Ensure any paint does not interfere with screw fitment or mounting surfaces.

Does it require reinforcement on the underside?

In most setups no additional reinforcement is needed. If you run frequently on rough surfaces consider routine inspection and replace if you spot hidden cracks.
