This bottom cap functions as an aftermarket replacement for the lower section of RC damper assemblies, intended to seal the damper, keep oil contained, and offer a stable anchoring point for the shaft and internal pieces during rebuilds and routine servicing.

Installation is simple: remove the damper from the model, drain any oil, separate the lower assembly, swap in the replacement cap, then reassemble with your original internal parts and oil grade. Double-check shaft alignment and that the piston moves freely before refitting the shock to the car.

During tuning and maintenance the lower cap influences leak resistance and workshop convenience more than suspension handling. Include O-ring and seal inspection in your service routine, keep mating surfaces clean, and confirm thread engagement to prevent stripping when reassembling.
