Refine BD9 Handling with the Yokomo B9-MWPA Plates

The Yokomo B9-MWPA Brass Weight Plate set is intended to fine-tune the BD9 chassis by lowering centre of gravity and improving balance through targeted mass placement. The box contains three brass plates, each around 7g, sized 25 x 34 x 1 mm for versatile fitment. The black finish and bevelled edges give a durable, tidy appearance.

Practical Uses and Setup Advice

Mounted beneath a lightweight super LCG battery, the plates help drop the CG for improved stability in corners. On cars running standard Li-po packs in stock touring classes, placing plates under the ESC or receiver can deliver better left-right balance. These plates are handy for drivers dialing in handling across different track conditions.

Remark :

Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Each plate is approximately 7g, so the full set adds about 21g. Spread placement lets you tune handling without a large single mass change.
They can be used with many battery trays, but verify fitment and clearance first. The thin profile helps in tight spaces, though tray shape may limit orientation.
Make one change at a time and run a few laps to assess effects on turn-in, mid-corner grip and exit. Keep notes so you can return to previous setups if needed.
