Front and Rear Inner Shaft for Double-Joint CVD

The Yokomo BD-010AW inner axle is an exact-style replacement for the double-joint universal inboard CVD used on BD7 and BD5 chassis. Install this axle if the current shaft shows wear, looseness, or any damage that affects drivetrain smoothness.

Tuning impact: because this axle connects the CVD to the differential output, it plays a direct role in alignment, driveline feel, and throttle feedback. During installation check CVD cup fit, inspect cross pins for wear, and ensure smooth rotation across the suspension arc to retain consistent handling characteristics.

Service notes: look for tiny bends, burrs, or joint slack, and swap the axle out if you notice binding or excessive play. Keep contact surfaces and bearings free of debris and double-check function after track runs.

Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Replacing a worn inner axle restores correct driveline geometry, which tightens steering feedback and evens throttle delivery, especially under load or during direction changes.
After installation, verify CVD rotation through full suspension travel, check for endplay, and perform a short test run to confirm the drivetrain runs smoothly before competitive use.
