Aluminium front topdeck for BD9

This Arrowmax AM-920023 front topdeck is an aluminium replacement plate crafted to fit the Yokomo BD9 FWD touring chassis. With its 2.0mm thickness it offers a straightforward way to firm up the front end without altering primary suspension parts.

The part mounts over the BD9 front area and links the shock tower to the bulkhead, using the stock screw locations. Installation requires removal of the original topdeck and refitting the Arrowmax plate to the existing fasteners; additional hardware is not normally required.

In practice a 2.0mm aluminium deck tends to reduce front flex and produce a more immediate steering response compared with thinner or composite decks. Add this upgrade into your setup progression and evaluate handling changes on a familiar 1/10 touring circuit to fine-tune balance and turn-in.
