Lightweight front shafts tailored for Yokomo B-MAX4

Arrowmax AM-010021 front drive shafts are supplied as a matched left and right pair and are designed as a direct replacement for the Yokomo B-MAX4 platform. The set provides a lighter option to reduce rotating mass in the front drivetrain and to promote more consistent behaviour during throttle and directional inputs on 1/10 touring cars.

Fitting is the usual front-shaft routine: remove wheel and hub, slide out the existing shaft from the gearbox and knuckle, then fit the Arrowmax replacements while checking spline alignment and endplay. Set fasteners to the recommended torque and rotate the steering through its range to check for binding. No modifications are normally needed with stock front hubs and steering geometry.

Setup insights and upkeep: reducing front rotating mass reduces drivetrain inertia and can give a crisper initial throttle response, which is helpful when trimming handling and traction. Check splines, hub engagement and for play during routine service, and replace the pair if wear becomes noticeable.
