High-Viscosity Grease for Dampers

Yokomo C-1105A is tailored for scale RC oil dampers and their O-rings, supplying a slightly adhesive lubricant that helps keep seals steady during assembly and maintenance. Applied thinly to the O-ring sealing lip, the grease reduces the tendency for seals to swell when exposed to silicone damping oils, helping maintain correct fit and performance.

The adhesive nature also makes it handy around the bench for light seal work, smoothing plastic-on-plastic movement, and temporarily holding small parts in position while you work. Be conservative with quantity to avoid grime buildup; wipe away excess from visible areas after installation.

How to use: coat the O-ring with a thin, even film before seating on the damper shaft or cap, then assemble as usual. For ongoing tuning, only refresh the grease when seals are cleaned or replaced to keep damping consistent.
