Performance Cooling for Small Motors

The Yokomo D-CFRA Aluminum Frame 30mm Cooling Fan in red helps reduce motor temperatures in compact RC installations. Its aluminium frame aids heat transfer and keeps the unit lightweight for minimal impact on balance.

Compatible Power Sources

This fan works with both 6V BEC systems and 7.4V Li-po supplies and uses a standard pin connector to plug into the receiver. The cable length is about 18cm, allowing tidy routing away from hot spots.

Installation Notes and Fasteners

The chassis-facing thickness is approximately 10.5mm, so you will need a 15mm button head screw to secure the unit; this is not part of the package. Check for clearance around motor mounts and linkages before fixing the fan.

Can I mount this fan on a non YD-2 chassis?

Yes. Most compact models that can accommodate a 30mm fan and have a suitable mounting point will accept this unit.

Are replacement screws included?

No. You will need to source a 15mm button head screw separately to mount the fan securely.

Is the fan noisy at full speed?

Small 30mm fans can be audible at high RPMs but noise is usually minimal compared with motor noise. Regular cleaning helps keep noise low.
