Overview: front lower A-arm for R12 models

The R12-10LFC front lower A-arm is a replacement suspension arm intended for RC-scale Yokomo R12 platforms. It is molded from a carbon-containing resin so riders get a firmer, more consistent response than from the stock plastic arm.

Practically, the stronger material boosts impact resistance during everyday track contacts and improves steering linearity and on-centre feel on high-grip asphalt surfaces. The component stabilises lower suspension geometry so small tweaks to camber, toe, or damper position translate into reliable handling changes.

Installation is the standard R12 procedure: detach wheel and steering linkages, unbolt the stock arm from upright and chassis mounts, then install the R12-10LFC using the original hardware and ball studs. Always check hinge pins and ensure free suspension travel prior to running.

Remark :

Start by checking static camber and toe, then run a brief on-track test. The increased front stiffness often calls for small toe or damper adjustments to restore the preferred turn-in balance.
The arm itself mainly stabilises lower geometry; while it does not change measured roll center, the firmer behaviour makes setup changes more predictable and can alter perceived roll and turn-in.
Improved steering linearity can lead to more consistent tyre loading and, in many cases, more even wear. Monitor tyre condition and adjust alignment if you notice uneven scrub.
