Lightweight M5x8 set screw for inner-spring lower arms

This M5x8 anodised aluminium set screw serves as a direct replacement for the spring-tension adjustment used with inner-spring lower arms on Yokomo R12 and GT series 1/10 scale chassis. It keeps the original thread geometry and mounting position while offering a lighter alloy option.

To install, thread the screw into the original adjustment hole on the lower arm assembly, set the desired spring preload, and verify full suspension travel and clearance. The component is meant to provide a stable adjustment point for ride height and spring preload and is not intended to modify spring or damper behavior.

Best used when converting to inner-spring lower arms or when a lighter, more repeatable adjustment point is preferred for set up and track servicing.

Anodising improves surface hardness and corrosion resistance compared with untreated metal, which helps reduce wear from repeated adjustments.
If installed correctly and not cross-threaded, the threads should remain serviceable. Avoid over-torquing and inspect threads if removed frequently.
It is designed for 1/10 scale R12 and GT inner-spring setups commonly used on on-road circuits; verify fit against the compatibility list for each model.
