Direct-fit upper A-arm compatible with R12/GT

This upper A-arm is a factory service-style replacement for the Yokomo R12/GT chassis range. It is meant for direct replacement of damaged or tired upper arms and supports common setup changes made during chassis tuning sessions. Below are details on fitment, installation, and its role in suspension setup.

Compatibility is limited to the listed R12/GT models. Always confirm your chassis code and alignment of mounting points prior to purchase to ensure proper fit.

Supported chassis: GT5-R35, GT5-SC430, GT3-REA, GT3-IS350, GT3-B4, GT3-CAX, GT3-BRZ, GT3-AHP, GT-B, GT5-R2, GT5-RS2.

Installation notes: Fit this A-arm using the chassis original fasteners and ball studs. Inspect the hinge pin and bushings while replacing and verify camber and toe after installation. Tighten hardware according to the vehicle manufacturer's torque specs and ensure the suspension travels without binding.

Tuning role: The upper arm impacts camber gain, roll center height, and steering return characteristics. Use this part to re-establish baseline geometry before fine adjustments to shocks, anti-roll bars, or steering links.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Upper arm geometry dictates camber change and roll centre, which in turn influence cornering grip and steering feel. Replacing worn arms helps restore predictable handling.
No specialist tools are required beyond common hobby tools. Follow torque recommendations and check free movement through the travel after installation.
You can reuse them if they are in good condition, but replace hinge pins and bushings if there is visible wear to maintain precise suspension geometry.
