Rear body positioning block for R12

This machined aluminum rear body mount block has been produced for the Yokomo R12 platform as an accessory for 1/12 touring cars. It secures the rear body and enables fine adjustments to rear mounting height for improved repeatability when setting up bodies.

Refer to the chassis compatibility list supplied with the part. The block fits as a standard replacement on Yokomo R12 and is suitable for some GT-series chassis where the mounting points match. Confirm alignment and hole spacing on your chassis before finalising the fit.

  • Supported chassis: GT5-R2 / GT5-RS2 / YR-R12C3 / YR-R12C31 / GT5-R35 / GT5-SC430 / GT3-REA / GT3-IS350 / GT3-B4 / GT3-CAX / GT3-BRZ / GT3-AHP / GT-B

Fitting tips: take off the rear body shell and existing mount hardware, trial-fit the block to check orientation and spacing, then secure evenly. Use the correct hex tool and avoid over-tightening to protect threads and maintain alignment.

On-track effect: by providing a consistent rear body mounting point, this block helps when testing different shells and adjusting rear body height to fine-tune handling balance.

Indirectly. It does not change suspension geometry, but providing a repeatable rear body height can affect airflow and downforce on certain shells, which may influence handling.
Shims are rarely needed if your chassis matches the listed models; if alignment is off during test-fit, thin shims can correct spacing without altering screw engagement.
Yes, provided the body posts and mount hardware match the block's hole pattern. Verify that post height and screw length are compatible before final installation.
