Hard-Rate Front Spring for YZ Buggies and Trucks

Yokomo RP-103BKA is a 1mm-longer, hard-rate front spring that reduces front-end roll and sharpens corner entry. It offers a firmer but controlled feel intended for scale tuning where steering precision is required without changing shock bodies.

This spring fits YZ-2 and YZ-4 buggies and YZ-2T trucks. The extra length and higher rate help cut mid-corner roll and increase steering bite on high-grip dirt for buggies and on artificial turf or carpet for trucks. After fitting, confirm spring preload and consider moving to slightly heavier shock oil or minor preload tweaks at the front to rebalance handling.

Color: black; use this spring when you want a firmer front response for precise cornering on high-traction surfaces while keeping an RC-scale setup philosophy.

Increasing front spring rate will shift some balance toward the front; expect reduced roll and sharper turn-in. Re-tune preload and shock oil to match your rear setup.
Begin with a slightly heavier oil than your baseline and test; the firmer front spring often works well with marginally thicker front oil to control rebound and maintain balance.
Yes. Small preload reductions at the front or fine preload adjustments can help re-establish the desired ride height and corner behavior after fitting the harder spring.
