The Yokomo RP-113450 RP Ultra Shock Oil #45 (Clear) is a silicone damping fluid designed to tune shock response in silicone-equipped R/C shocks and dampers. The RP Ultra range has been updated with smaller viscosity increments at important points and color markers to make grade changes faster when refining setups.

Viscosity #45 (clear) supplies a medium damping profile that helps balance rebound and compression control. Changing to a lighter or heavier RP Ultra grade alters chassis roll and the way weight transfers under cornering; make small, incremental swaps and test on the same circuit to assess the impact.

When servicing, remove the old oil, rinse internal parts if needed, and refill slowly to minimize trapped air. Move the shock shaft repeatedly to expel bubbles, then top up to the correct level. Always use a clean syringe or designated dispenser for silicone oils to keep grades uncontaminated.
