Tune traction and response with viscous diff oil

This diff lubricant is engineered with a controlled silicone viscosity to let you tune traction and smoothness in ball differentials and compact gear-type diffs. The mix focuses on steady viscous damping so handling remains consistent lap after lap.

Use the fluid in setup to influence "feel": increasing viscosity raises coupling for stronger drive feedback, while reducing viscosity eases drag for freer rotation. It is intended as a tuning fluid rather than a hardware change, enabling precise adjustment of differential behavior for sprint or practice sessions.

Application guidance: apply a small, measured amount onto ball carriers and race surfaces inside the differential, cycle the unit to distribute the lubricant, then reassemble. Avoid over-application because excess fluid will alter the desired damping profile. The description treats this product strictly as an accessory for small-scale RC differentials.

Service note: the lubricant is formulated to slow down degradation of damping performance so differentials can remain effective longer, cutting down on how often you need to fully disassemble and clean them compared with thin oils.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Start with small viscosity changes and test on track: higher viscosity increases drive coupling for tighter exits, lower viscosity allows more differential action. Make incremental swaps and assess handling improvements.
Mixing different viscous compounds can produce intermediate damping, but results vary; test small amounts first. Consistent mixing and thorough distribution are important for repeatable behavior.
Use precise amounts, cycle the diff to work the fluid in, and run short test sessions between adjustments. This approach helps you find the optimal viscosity setting without overfilling.
