Drift-focused graphite rear tower

This RC-scale graphite rear shock tower is produced for drift chassis use on Yokomo platforms and comparable vehicles, focusing on providing a stiffer shock mount to influence rear-end feel. The piece is intended to change local stiffness at the mount without modifying principal chassis geometry.

Installation notes: confirm the rear tower mounting pattern on your chassis before fitting, re-use the vehicle's existing mounting holes and hardware or equivalent fasteners, and verify alignment and full thread engagement as you reassemble. This description does not list included fasteners or precise hole locations; check the part against your car before installation.

Tuning role: installing a graphite tower in place of a stock plastic item reduces flex at the shock mount and can make the rear response feel more direct. Use it together with adjustments to shock valving, spring rate, and sway bar settings to achieve finer control during drift sessions.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Expect reduced local flex at the shock mount, which typically yields a tighter and more predictable rear response. Exact effect depends on the rest of your setup.
Consider softer or firmer shock valving and small spring rate changes to balance the increased mount stiffness. Adjust anti-roll balance gradually to maintain desired rotation.
No. The tower reduces flex at the shock mount area but overall chassis flex is influenced by many components. Use the tower as one tuning tool among others.
