This RC-scale steering rack is built for the MR-4TC SD LCG chassis and enables steering geometry adjustments without major teardown. By shifting the steering rod 1.5mm ahead or behind the stock mount, the rack provides a direct way to alter the Ackermann ratio and refine turn-in for drifting or precise handling work.
To install, remove the stock rack and fit this unit, then relocate the steering rod into the alternate mounting hole to modify the linkage relationship. Since this is a lateral offset change, it adjusts the front wheel steering angles mechanically and typically avoids the need to change servo end-points or transmitter settings.
Notes for setup: altering the rod position changes the balance between inner and outer wheel angles. Test changes gradually on the same surface and pair this adjustment with tyre selection, toe, and suspension tuning to reach the handling goal.
