This silicone-based shock oil is intended for RC shocks to let you alter damping without changing spring preload or ride height. It influences compression and rebound inside sealed shock units, giving racers the control to adjust handling for different surfaces and driving approaches.
To replace fluid, drain the old oil, clean the piston and inner components, then refill to the recommended level using a syringe or dedicated tool. Cycle the shaft slowly to remove air bubbles and confirm consistent travel before refitting the shock to the chassis.
When refining setup, make incremental viscosity adjustments and test on track; increasing viscosity raises damping resistance and slows rebound, while reducing viscosity lowers resistance and speeds response. Keep detailed notes so preferred setups can be replicated or undone during tuning sessions.
