The Yokomo Y2-008FSLA Aluminium Front Left Short Lower A Arm fits the YD-2 and YD-4 platforms and shortens the lower arm compared to standard resin units. This alteration clears tyre interference and permits a greater steering sweep for more dynamic drifting control.

Installation Advisory

Note that YD-4 owners must install the separate front A-arm conversion (Y4-AAC ?4, 200) to ensure correct fitment and suspension geometry.

Do I need to change other suspension parts when fitting this arm?

In many cases the arm installs with existing parts, but check ball studs and hinge pins for play and replace worn items to get the best steering improvements.

Will I need to adjust my steering servo?

If your setup already uses high-lock steering, no major servo changes are necessary; however, check servo travel and linkage geometry to ensure full, reliable lock without binding.
