Yokomo Y2-415RBA rear hub carrier for improved traction

The Yokomo Y2-415RBA brass rear hub carrier delivers a durable brass solution to increase rear-end mass on YD-2 chassis. By raising unsprung weight at the rear, the part helps tyres maintain grip under load, improving stability through corners and when accelerating out of turns.

Works with many YD-2 variants

This rear hub carrier is designed to fit numerous YD-2 models, allowing easy interchange between cars and setups. It is useful for enthusiasts wanting predictable rear behaviour without major chassis changes.

Practical fitting notes

Fit the Yokomo Y2-415RBA carefully, checking clearance and torque on all fixings after assembly. Test on a familiar surface and make small suspension or toe adjustments to compensate for the extra rear mass.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Most installations keep existing offsets, but verify wheel and tyre clearance after fitting. Some drivers fine tune offset to maintain desired scrub and steering response.
Heavier rear ends can affect how power is transferred; you might try slightly different diff oils or preload to match the new traction characteristics.
Standard RC maintenance tools are sufficient. Use a calibrated driver for torque-critical screws and ensure bearings are seated correctly during assembly.
