The Yokomo Y2-GC1A Grade Up Conversion 1 enhances the driving characteristics of YD-2 chassis. This upgrade kit includes an LS rear suspension arm, LF big bore shocks and low friction bearings to boost stability, damping control and front-end precision.

Upgrade Highlights

  • LS Rear Suspension Arm: Enables greater downstroke adjustment so rear grip and body roll can be tuned for tight tracks or loose layouts.
  • LF Big Bore Shock: Bigger shock bore delivers firmer, more adjustable damping for steady mid-corner support and rebound control.

Will this kit help on loose or low-grip surfaces?

The LF shocks and LS arm give more tuning options that can improve traction on looser surfaces when set with softer damping and appropriate springs.

Yes, the bearings are sized to replace standard units in the YD-2 front end and reduce rolling resistance with no special modification.

Is any setup advice included?

The kit does not replace a setup guide, so start with conservative damping and tweak droop and camber links to find the best balance for your track.
