The Y2-RAC5 upper arm pin is supplied as a direct replacement for the upper pivot location on Yokomo YD-2 rear suspension assemblies. It secures the upper arm pivot in the Y2-RAC rear A-arm SP kit and is intended for use when refreshing worn pivot hardware during rebuilds or setup changes.

Installation is uncomplicated: withdraw the existing pin, align the replacement through the arm and bracket, and ensure it seats correctly while allowing free arm movement. After installation, verify there is no unwanted lateral play and that the suspension travels smoothly to maintain reliable handling.

Replacing aged or loose upper pins reduces slop at the pivot point and supports more consistent toe and camber under load, which can make handling feel tighter and more predictable during tuning sessions on YD-2 cars.
