Rear ESC placement to sharpen YD-2 traction

The Yokomo Y2-REM-RA Rear ESC Mount relocates the Electronic Speed Controller to the back overhang of YD-2 series chassis to rebalance mass. By shifting weight rearward this mount improves rear tyre contact on low-grip surfaces, helping acceleration and reducing the tendency for the front to wash out. The reduced front loading also helps stabilise steering under throttle.

Fitment advice and performance effects

Drivers will notice stronger grip exiting corners and a chassis that handles heavier throttle inputs with less instability. Keep in mind that the Y2-RAC YD-2 rear A-arm conversion can clash with this mount, so they should not be used at the same time.
