The Yokomo Y2-SBBSRA Super Low Friction (SLF) Aluminum Big Bore Shock Set has been developed for the YD-2 chassis to enhance steadiness during drift and on-road sessions. The wider cylinder bore increases stroke control and helps the car settle more predictably during steering inputs.

Smoother action thanks to Kashima Coat

Each cylinder receives a Kashima Coat treatment to minimise internal friction and smooth shaft travel. This smoother action reduces the disruptive vibrations from resin tyres and improves the contact patch under load.

Greater capacity for reliable handling

Extended shock length and larger internal capacity allow for more oil volume, improving thermal consistency and handling repeatability. That makes setup changes more reliable when tuning for different circuits or surfaces.
