Carpet and astro turf big-bore front spring

This Yokomo front coil is aimed at high-grip carpet and artificial turf racing. Its big-bore geometry and trimmed length let you drop ride height while keeping measured rebound, which aids smoother jump landings and lowers the chance of flipping on tacky sections.

Practically, the spring modifies suspension response without requiring different shock bodies or mounting points. Compared with standard short springs you will see firmer midstroke support that helps the car resist sudden roll and stay more balanced through fast, high-grip turns. Fit it the same way you would any front spring: replace the coil, set preload, and then tune oil and pistons to match track feel.

Best used when you need quicker rebound control for tight, grippy venues and want the chassis to remain composed at a slightly reduced ride height.

After fitting, adjust shock oil and pistons to achieve the desired rebound rate; start with your regular setup and make small changes until landings and corner exits feel stable.
