Big-bore front spring built for carpet and astro turf

The Yokomo YAS-675 is a front shock spring developed specifically for high-traction artificial surfaces such as carpet and astro turf. As a shortened big-bore front spring, it supports a lower ride height while offering improved landing control and less tendency to snag on turf edges.

When used on track the spring helps manage jump impacts and reduces sudden corner grabs that can cause a high-side type reaction, encouraging steadier landings and more predictable front-end behaviour without altering your existing shock hardware.

Tuning guidance: use the YAS-675 as a direct replacement where big-bore springs fit, and adjust damping and preload to suit track grip. Because overall stroke height is reduced, verify ride height after fitment and adapt pistons or collars as required to maintain the desired suspension travel.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It dampens landing shock and reduces the chance of the front end snagging on turf fibers, which results in a calmer, more controlled touchdown.
Not always, but you should review damping after fitting; increasing oil weight or adjusting pistons can help tune rebound to match the shorter spring length.
Lower ride height can reduce available travel, so confirm suspension clearance and adjust preload or shock travel to avoid bottoming under heavy compression.
