Yokomo YM-ATA Body Protection and Repair Tape

The Yokomo YM-ATA Aluminum Protective Body Tape is a compact solution for reinforcing and repairing RC car shells. Constructed with glass mesh fibres, it improves tensile strength for patching hairline cracks, adding reinforcement to vulnerable areas, and keeping wiring in place.

The tape is flexible enough to follow tight curves and recesses on plastic and lexan bodies, maintaining a clean finish while adding protection. It is ideal for splashing on repairs after a crash or reinforcing load points.

What prep is recommended before applying?

Wipe the area with a mild solvent or isopropyl alcohol to remove grease and dust, then press firmly to ensure full contact.
