Retention pins for steering and suspension linkages

This RC-scale C-clip joint pin kit is intended to secure hub and linkage connections on model cars. The pins function as retention hardware for steering and suspension linkages that use a C-clip fastener, maintaining engagement between control arms, hubs, and tie rods while keeping factory geometry intact.

The set fits common RC hub and linkage assemblies designed to accept C-clip style pins. They act as straightforward mechanical retainers rather than components that alter load distribution, so they are typically used to replace worn or missing pins or during scheduled maintenance to restore correct fitment.

To install on compatible joints, align the linkage or hub hole with the pin, press the pin into the bore until the C-clip seats, and check for free movement without excessive play. Inspect pins periodically for wear or corrosion and replace them if they become loose or if the clip no longer engages properly, since loose pins can negatively affect handling.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are intended to match original fitment and should not change geometry. However, worn or loose pins can introduce slop that affects handling, so replace faulty pins promptly.
Yes. After you set link lengths, these pins are used to secure the adjusted position. They do not act as length-adjusting hardware themselves.
They provide the necessary retention for steering and suspension joints. For competition use, keep a close inspection routine and replace pins at the first sign of wear to maintain consistent performance.
