How this Motor & Parts Cleaner Supports Tuning

This Yokomo cleaner is an RC maintenance solvent designed to remove oil, grease and light contaminants without attacking resin elements. It is tailored for routine cleaning of chassis parts and electric motor housings, aiding the removal of grime from gear zones, bearing seats and motor end bells.

Apply the cleaner sparingly before lubrication or reassembly: allow the solvent to dissolve deposits, then wipe clean with a lint-free cloth or use compressed air to evacuate residues. Because it is resin-safe, it is suitable for many plastic and composite components in RC kits, but always trial on a hidden spot when finishes are painted or treated.

For tuning purposes, clean running parts promote repeatable adjustments: removing oil and dirt reduces drag on transmissions, helps gears and bearings run true, and maintains clearer motor vents for consistent bench checks.
