Heat-Treated Coil for 1/10 Shocks

The Yokomo YOKR12-37SS X Shock Soft Spring is an RC shock spring for 1/10 scale electric touring and on-road vehicles. Constructed from heat-treated steel wire, it provides a softer baseline option to increase suspension compliance and improve traction on low-grip layouts.

As a soft, general-purpose spring it affects ride height, weight transfer and transient response while leaving other shock components unchanged. Fit these springs into your current shock bodies and use the same oil and pistons initially to assess handling changes. Because spring rate interacts with preload, you may need to alter collars or spacers to restore ride height after installation.

The spring is designed for broad compatibility with common shock assemblies that accept standard-length coil springs. Confirm internal shock travel and retainer clearance before long runs. Use the springs progressively while monitoring steering feel and mid-corner balance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
These springs are made from heat-treated steel wire, which improves fatigue resistance and helps maintain spring shape under load compared with untreated wire.
Longevity depends on use and conditions. Regular inspection for signs of sag or deformation is recommended, and replace springs if performance or ride height changes noticeably.
Keep springs free of debris, avoid corrosive environments, and inspect mount points and retainers. Replacing worn retainers helps prevent uneven preload and premature wear.
