Replacement rear coil for off-road shocks

This Yokomo YOKRP-084BK rear spring is supplied as an RC-scale replacement part intended for use in off-road suspension. It is provided as a single-purpose coil that mounts on compatible rear shock assemblies and is intended to supply basic springing without implying vehicle-specific compatibility.

Fitting follows standard coil-over shock practice: remove the shock if required, reduce preload, slide the spring onto the shaft and seat it on the spring perch, then reapply preload and refit the shock. Always check the spring inner diameter and free length against your shock's retainer and shaft before completing installation.

Rear springs play a key role in rear-end balance, traction and the rebound profile. Use these springs together with an appropriate shock oil viscosity, measured preload changes and travel limits to tune handling. Proceed with small changes and test on representative terrain to assess the effect on rotation and traction.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Check the shock perch diameter and shaft clearance, then compare those dimensions to the spring inner diameter and free length listed by the vendor to ensure compatibility before buying.
Package contents vary by retailer; review the product description to confirm whether you are purchasing a single spring or a set.
Work on a clean bench, relieve preload before sliding the spring on, ensure it seats squarely on the perch, then reapply preload and check for free travel without binding.
