Tuning-grade titanium ball end

The Yokomo YOKRP-101SHS functions as a precision titanium ball end offered for replacement and tuning on scale R/C linkages. It is tailored to fine-tune steering and suspension link geometry on model vehicles only.

Titanium delivers a useful strength-to-weight balance and better corrosion performance than many steel counterparts. The 4.8mm short neck and 11.5mm ball seating set the physical limits for clearance and travel, and these dimensions are included in the model name to help ensure compatibility with existing rod ends.

To fit, confirm thread and ball-seat compatibility, insert and secure the ball end, then exercise the steering and suspension through full travel to check for binding. For tuning work, change one linkage at a time so you can evaluate handling effects incrementally.

Routine maintenance is straightforward: inspect for wear, keep the part clean after dusty or wet runs, and use appropriate thread-lock or torque settings according to your servo and chassis guidance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Using a shorter-neck ball end like this can tighten steering response and change roll center slightly; swap one link at a time and road-test to note differences.
Yes, provided the thread and ball seat sizes match the linkage ends on both axles; confirm fitment before installing in critical control links.
Fit one ball end, then drive through the full range of motion while observing for binding or unusual play. Record changes so you can revert if the setup is not improved.
