Fitment and tuning notes

The YOKSG4883 is a spur gear built for 48 pitch RC gear trains and offered as a direct replacement for common 48-pitch drivetrains. It installs inside model gearboxes and drivetrain assemblies and is intended for ratio adjustments or component renewal in electric and nitro models.

When fitting, ensure the pinion gear is the same 48 pitch to avoid poor engagement. Proper mesh setup is vital: set a small, even backlash, spin the drivetrain by hand to check for smooth gear contact, then fasten motor and gearbox and re-check after running. Do not force parts together during assembly.

Changing spur tooth count influences the overall gear ratio and therefore acceleration versus top speed. Use this gear as part of coordinated tuning steps and adjust motor and ESC parameters to evaluate changes in model behaviour.
