High-viscosity shock oil for better track control

Yokomo YOKYS600 is a silicone-based shock oil offered in a single #600 grade. It is supplied as an accessory for scale R/C vehicles to modify damping performance without swapping mechanical parts.

Effect on setup: filling oil-filled shocks with #600 affects both rebound and compression flow, changing traction, pitch and responsiveness during cornering and jumps. Compared with lighter oils, #600 delivers stronger damping to reduce unwanted movement at higher speeds.

Maintenance notes: carry out shock service on a clean surface, remove pistons and shafts, drain the previous oil, refill the shock body and piston with the new fluid, reassemble and slowly cycle the shaft to bleed any air. Conduct a short track test and fine-tune by changing oil grade or piston shims rather than altering shock geometry.
