TYPE-C Spacer - Function and Fit

The Yokomo YOKZCS37 Link Mount Spacer TYPE-C serves as an easy-to-install shim to alter the spacing at link mounting points without changing link length or creating new holes. It is intended for iterative adjustments during setup sessions.

By adding or removing thin spacers at the mount interface you can influence alignment and roll behaviour; small variations in spacer stack-up shift load distribution and can adjust toe and camber response for fine tuning. Make conservative changes and evaluate the handling impact incrementally.

To fit, remove the link fastener, insert the spacer where extra clearance or offset is needed, then reassemble and verify full suspension travel for proper operation. Tighten hardware securely after confirming fit and symmetry.

Because this product is a general-purpose spacer, confirm physical clearance and hole alignment with your chassis and link hardware before long-term fitment, and match adjustments on both sides to maintain predictable handling characteristics.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
When used correctly, thin spacers do not significantly reduce durability, but ensure proper clearance and avoid excessive stack height that could introduce leverage on fasteners.
Select spacers in small thickness increments to make measured tuning changes; large jumps can produce unpredictable handling shifts.
Change one parameter at a time, test on a consistent track surface, and keep notes so you can reverse or refine settings based on lap-to-lap feedback.
